Two unassisted pull-ups!
I DID IT! I can’t believe it, I’m so happy!
I wasn’t going to go for it today, but I did anyway. I did one and a half with an overhand grip, was ecstatic, rested a little, and did one and a half with an underhand grip. Wow. Appearantly one of my colleagues saw it and came over to congratulate me, he looked really surprised. Just, YESSS!
Feeling like a beast!

- Interrupt someone during a set- it’s distracting, rude and annoying
- USE THE SMITH MACHINE. NEVER EVER FOR NEVER EVER
- Stare blatantly at someone who’s lifting
- Check out the girl’s when you’re supposed to be spotting someone
- Grunt like an elephant on every rep of every set. Unless it’s your…

Because I’d rather burp and taste tutti frutti with a teeny tiny hint of fish oil than just fish oil.
I had to add a picture of how tan I am. And I feel like such a guy lying with my sunglasses on checking out fit girls’ abs and butts. I don’t even care about the guys walking around. Fitgirlproblems? I don’t know what to call that.
For Convict Conditioning I did:
The Push-up step three: Kneeling push-ups, progression standard 3 sets of 30
The Squat step five: Full squats, progression standard 2 sets of 30
The Leg-raise step three: Flat leg raises, progression standard 3 sets of 30
The Bridge step two: Straight bridges, progression standard 3 sets of 40
The Pull-up step two: Horizontal pulls, beginner standard is 1 set of 10 and intermediate is 2 sets of thirty. I did 15, 13 and 11…
I can do regular push-ups, but the book says not to skip any steps, rushing through them won’t do me any good anyway. And 30 push-ups on your knees with perfect form, one second pause at the bottom with no rest, 3 sets, is pretty hard, for me at least.
I’m not complaining, this part of Italy is beautiful, but I kinda miss going to the gym, eating food with proteins and complex carbs, and most of all… MY DOG! I miss him sooooo much! According to facebook, the weather at home in Norway is crap, so I’m going to relax and enjoy the last four days.

I’m still on vacation in Italy, seems like I lost a couple of followers because of that, but the wifi signal where I’ve been staying’s been really bad, so I haven’t be able to post anything. I’ve taken a few pictures, I’ll post them later.
I guess I should try to keep this a little fitness related; so far I’ve worked out four times: three sessions of convict conditioning and one tabata. Then there’s swimming and walking around. Food wise, I’ve been eating lots of white bread, pasta, drinking soda with sugar, all things not good. BUT I’ve actually started to enjoy the taste of vegetables! I’ve never liked it, I just ate it because healthy.
Hope everyone’s having a good summer so far, and hello to my new followers!

Day 1 in Italy’s been perfect! The lovely people at the vineyard we’re staying at made a delicious three course meal, then we hung out by the pool, took a nap, went to the village nearby and ate the best lasagna we’ve ever tasted and topped it off with stracciatella gelato.
Oh, and I’m planning on doing Convict Conditioning tomorrow. The guard rail, or whatever you call it, looks perfect for horizontal pulls and incline push-ups!

I was helping my mom move a table, and when I lifted I almost flipped it over. She just looked at me and said “when did you get so strong?”
We tried out Convict Conditioning at the cabin, and I actually did wall headstands for the first time. Progression standard is 2 minutes and I did it on my first try. I actually thought the hardest part was getting “up”, not holding the position. Next step is crow stand, which is what I’m trying to do in the picture. Progression standard is 1 minute, I could only do 30 sec. Oh well, practice makes perfect I guess.
